Honey & Thyme was started by an 18-year-old in Glenwood Springs who just really loves making sandwiches. It began with something simple—packing sourdough sandwiches for her single mom to take to work and for herself at school. It became a quiet routine filled with love, comfort, and care. Something small that made hard days a little softer.
Now, it’s a real business—and one she’s built to feel the same way those sandwiches always did. Cozy, creative, and filled with intention. This project included both brand and packaging design, created to reflect the warmth, artistry, and joy behind the food. It’s not just a sandwich shop, it’s a place that feels like a little piece of comfort.
BRAND & PACKAGING DESIGN
Core Concept
hand crafted, organic, artisanal, and bright. A fun, artful, and cozy shop.
Main Goals
To create an artisanal and organic visual brand. A brand and shop and feels good to buy from and be around.
To design packaging that matches the brand, take-out and sandwich containers that are secure to protect the food and make a positive impact to the environment.
Special Ties
Pink and sourdough are two clear ties that the business owner love. We went with a color palette that both stands out and compliments well with the plant wall inside her shop.
Deliverables
Logo suite, pattern, typography, color palette, brand strategy & creative direction, messaging and tone, custom illustrations, menu design, brand guidelines, take-out & container packaging design, packaging assets, material selection with full life cycle, complete dielines
