Bird Nerd is a gear brand made for the hobbyist, the ones who wake up at dawn just to catch a glimpse of feathered wings or fur in the distance. From cameras to clothing, backpacks to binoculars, this brand offers high-quality tools for birders and animal watchers who take their passion seriously.

This project was a mascot brand identity design paired with subscription shipping box designs made to protect and create a sense of simplicity, excitement, and exploration. These designs focus on playfulness and connection, brought to life through a charming nerd of a mascot. The packaging itself balances durability with visual simplicity, each box was designed with durable layering to add extra protection without clutter. The result is a sleek unboxing experience that’s as functional as it is simple to open, with thoughtful layout choices that keep the focus on quality and utility over waste.
